Gaon Holdings is one of Israel’s leading holding companies, renowned for its rapid growth, soild business and social vision.

The company was founded in 1998 by the late Benjamin D. Gaon – winner of numerous industrial awards and one of Israel’s most prominent industrialists and business leaders.

Gaon Holdings is headed by Moshe Gaon (Chairman) and Avi Hochman (CEO) and is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The company strives for growth and expansion, focusing on three primary fields: Cleantech / Water, Financial Services, Retail / Trading.

Company History

1998 - Gaon Holdings is founded by the late Benny Gaon

1999 - Establishment of Retail & Trading arm

2000 - Establishment of Finance and Cleantech arms

2007 - Gaon Holdings IPO in Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the establishment of a venture capital fund - AquAgro

2008 - Moshe Gaon is appointed Chairman of the Board

2010 - The AquAgro Fund acquires Kinrot Ventures, the world largest water incubator, 'Gaon Capital Markets' - Meitav and Yashir Investment House are merged into one investment house - Meitav

2011 - Avi Hochman is appointed CEO of Gaon Holdings
